Motif styles
We produce various distinct styles: classic, modern and art-deco. Additionally we also offer motifs in relief
Classic paterns
Classic patterns originate from the 18th and 19th century. Some well-known examples, both on tableaus and as individual patterns, are: birdcage, farmer and horse, woman with cow, jumping horse, flower vase, VOC ship, quatrefoil, pilaster, large flowers and child's play.
Modern decorations
Modern designs of the late 20th century include: a blue-checked tea cloth, the tulip vase, enamel objects, fruit still lifes and the spoon wall-rack.
Modern designers, als well as clients, like to use their majolica technique, and like seeing modern decorations on their hand shaped tiles.
Relief decorations
Richly decorated and relief tiles and plaques for the most part have their roots in England. These tiles, which can be termed three-dimensional, can be used in kitchen tiling, tile coverings of fireplaces in living rooms, supplemented with monochrome tiles, or mounted on a wooden panel and hung separately on the wall.
Borders
Often tile tableaus are surrounded with a profiling edge of half-tiles; the familiar handpainted border motifs.
